Wood Pelleting Plant Process


In wood pelleting plant, the raw material covers a wide scope: wood shavings, sawdust, tree branches, wood chips and other wood wastes. While not all raw material reaches the level standard, we need the help of pellet mill equipment to achieve raw material pretreatment like wood chipper or hammer mill. Through the pulverizing system, the raw material should be transferred into the rotary drum dryer to be dried. By the pretreatment, the finished material is compressed in the ring die pellet mill and formed into different sizes of wood pellets according to customers’ demand. In order to store and transport better, the finished wood pellets have to be cooled by cooler and packed by the packaging machine.
